Welcome Home Marine | Military Homecoming
As a military spouse, I've gone through my fair share of deployments. The weeks are long and the days are longer, especially when you're checking your countdown app every single day! You don't get to talk to your loved one nearly as much as you'd like and they miss out on so many special events. It's definitely hard, but...the reunion is SO worth it.
As my time here in North Carolina quickly comes to an end (for now anyway), I've taken the time to think back to the 35+ military homecomings I've been able to photograph/video for the most deserving clients over the last 3 years. They're all so special in their own way! The Motley family's homecoming was my last before I move and it couldn't have been better! Katie + Justin welcomed their second child to the world during this deployment! Witnessing families reunite is an amazing feeling but seeing our troops meet their babies for the first time is so emotional. These military families sacrifice so much and I'm so happy I can be there to capture their sweet reunion.
