Since elopements are becoming a popular thing, I knew I wanted to photograph one and I couldn't have had a better couple to be my first!

Cheri and Troy are expecting a baby next year and just couldn't imagine paying for a wedding so they decided to elope! They chose a cute little bed and breakfast in downtown New Bern and had just a few friends and family members attend, including Troy's son and daughter. They included a unity canvas for their ceremony and had the tastiest cake along with champagne afterwards! We walked the downtown streets for their portraits and even found some hidden gems along the way. I look forward to photographing more elopements in the future!
